This small, hand forged blade has a heavy taper from spine to tip and a fine edge. Made with two layers of mild steel sandwiched over a high carbon steel core, this laminated blade is perfect for small kitchen tasks.
 
The handle is a lovely piece of english yew with some little knots and purple spots.

Note: this blade is made with carbon steels which unlike stainless steel blades are 'reactive'; this means the blade can rust if left wet. Over time the blade will develop a patina and the appearance of the blade surface can change.
