This knife is hand forged from pre-laminated steel, the same steel I use for my Silver Nipper paring knives: 66 layers of stainless steel on either side of a high carbon stainless steel core. This knife has been ground very thin behind the edge for cutting performance. The handle is handmade from a lovely piece of Seqoia from Kent, with a brass cap.
