Brown Oak & Damascus Steel Utility Knife
This 5.9” utility knife is hand forged from Damascus steel; two steels and thin sheets of nickel folded and disrupted over each other to create an organic pattern, which has been etched to show subtle contrast between the steels in the blade. This knife is very thin behind the edge for cutting performance. The handle is made from brown oak with a stainless steel cap.
This blade is made with high carbon steel which, unlike stainless steel, is 'reactive'; this means the blade will develop a patina, changing the appearance of the blade surface as you use it (see T&C's). I prefer to work with high carbon steels over stainless steels due to their incredible edge retention and ease of sharpening at home, but they do require more care.
This blade will rust if left wet. Handwash only
