Yew Damascus Chef Knife

Thin and sharp with a 160mm edge, this blades has been hand forged from my own blend of damascus steel, a combination of pure nickel and mild steel damascus over a high carbon steel core. The handle is from a lovely board of yew  and has a handmade mild steel cap.

Depth at heel: 45mm 


Note: this blade is made with carbon steel which, unlike stainless steel, is 'reactive'; this means the blade will develop a patina and will change the appearance of the blade surface over time and can rust if not properly cared for.
