This utility knife is hand forged from from homemade damascus laminate, using layers of nickel and mild steel over a 26c3 core. Every ripple on the blade pattern represents a hammer blow.
It's a robust weight general purpose knife, ground very thin for cutting performance. The handle is spalted beech from London. The lines and colouring in the wood are the result of different funglas species interacting while the tree was decaying. The decayed wood has been treated with a plant based resin to make it a duable handle material.
