This blade is thick! While it's still thin behind the edge and sharp as heck, this blade has geometry unlike my other chef knives. At it's thickest point on the spine it's 6mm with a heavy forged taper, and 10mm above the cutting edge it's 1.5mm thick. If you are a rough chef, this is the knife for you.
Hand forged from my own laminated steel. Mild steel and nickel encase a high carbon steel core.
