This large chef knife has been hand forged from laminated steel, subtle layers of folded iron steel over a high carbon steel core. The blade is long and lean, lightweight and ground very thin for cutting performance. The handle is made from a rare piece of 5,700 year old bog yew with a stainless steel cap.
