This chef knife is hand forged from an iron clad san-mai steel with a high carbon steel core. It's a nice size for a general purpose knife, and ground very thin for cutting performance. The larger portion of the handle is made from a gorgeous piece of Peckham cherry-plum with a rippled sycamore ferrule.
